Kylie's collaboration with the Scissor Sisters will be released as her next single and will feature on her forthcoming greatest hits collection. 'I Believe In You', co-written with Scissor Sisters' Jake Shears and Babydaddy, will be released on 29 Nov.
The double-CD greatest hits collection, 'Ultimate Kylie', due out two weeks earlier, will also include another new song, 'Giving You Up'.
The album is Kylie's first compilation to feature her hits from the Stock, Aiken and Waterman period, her time with BMG's De-Construction Records and the more recent releases on EMI's Parlophone. It tracks Minogue's pop career from her debut Australian number one 'The Loco-Motion' in 1987 through to latest hit 'Chocolate'. Also included are her first UK number one 'I Should Be So Lucky', and six other British chart topping hits as well as her duets with Jason Donovan and with Nick Cave.
Commenting on the album, Kylie told reporters: "Since my first hit, I can't believe how quickly time has passed. This collection is very dear to me and holds a lifetime of memories. I feel lucky to have had the opportunity to experiment throughout the years and that my fans have embraced the need in me to try new approaches. I am just as excited about the new tracks featured here as I am about all the others on the record."
