Lee from Blue signs solo deal

Blue's Lee Ryan has reportedly signed a £500,000 solo deal with SonyBMG division Brightside Records, according to The Mirror.

According to The Mirror, Lee Ryan has followed in the footsteps of Blue band mate Duncan James and signed a solo deal worth £500,000 with SonyBMG division Brightside Records. He's also in talks, apparently, to become the (slightly goofy?) new face of Dolce & Gabbana. An apparently deluded source said "Lee is going to be the new Robbie Williams. It's as simple as that. He is now a top priority for SonyBMG and they're ploughing millions into him."
