Marr says Smiths might reform

Johnny Marr has told BBC Five Live that The Smiths could reform in 10 or 15 years, though Morrissey is currently pursuing his own career.

Professor Johnny Marr says The Smiths could reform, even though different band members have said over the years that a reunion is a definite no go - Morrissey in particular. But Marr has told BBC Five Live's Victoria Derbyshire that "stranger things have happened so, you know, who knows?" adding: "It's no biggy. Maybe we will in 10 or 15 years time when we all need to for whatever reasons, but right now Morrissey is doing his thing and I'm doing mine, so that's the answer really".
