Midweek chart update

Elvis Presley's That's All Right is tipped to reach number two, Usher to stay top, and McFly's debut album is likely to top the album chart.

It might be one of the most important records of all time, a legendary recording that led to the birth of rock 'n' roll, but who wants a white boy doing black music when you can have a black man doing black music? That is to say the 50th anniversary re-release of Elvis' 'That's All Right' looks likely to go in at two on this week's singles chart, while Usher will stay top with 'Burn'. Which might not be good news for Elvis fans, but BMG probably won't care - having not only Usher and Elvis on their roster, but also Mr Will Young whose new single 'Friday's Child' is likely to go in at three.

Talking of legendary recordings and genre moulding records the band likely to top the album chart on Sunday are, erm, McFly with debut release 'Room On The 3rd Floor'. CMU favourites The Ordinary Boys should also go top ten with debut album 'Over The Counter Culture'.
