Murder Inc boss Irv Gotti agrees to drug-diversion programme

Murder Inc boss Irv Gotti has agreed to enter a drug-diversion programme in California after his arrest at an R Kelly show, and the charge would be dismissed on completion.

Murder Inc. boss Irv 'Gotti' Lorenzo has agreed to enter a 'drug-diversion programme' in California having been arrested for possessing drugs last week.

Gotti was arrested in Oakland Ca during an R Kelly show after guards backstage discovered one ecstasy pill and four Viagra tablets in his wallet during a security check.

An Alameda County Superior Court judge told Lorenzo's lawyer that the music executive was eligible to enter drug diversion and, if he completes the program, the drug charge will be dismissed, but that "the stigma of him taking Viagra will be hard to shake in the hiphop community."
