Natasha Bedingfield gets US deal with Sony label

Natasha Bedingfield has signed a £1 million US record deal with Epic, a SonyBMG label, according to the Sun, after flying to New York to finalise it.

Natasha Bedingfield, signed to Arista in the UK, has signed a £1million US record deal with Epic (both Arista and Epic are now, of course, part of the SonyBMG empire). According to the Sun Natasha flew out to New York to finalise the deal after picking up the Hot New Talent award at the Smash Hits Poll Winners' Party last weekend. Manager Neale Easterby, who also looks after her brother Daniel, told reporters: "Epic's David Massey has been a fan of both Bedingfields from very early on. When the opportunity arose to work with Natasha he jumped at it."
