P&P to work in sync with London Calling

London music publisher P&P Songs has partnered with synch rights agency London Calling to look for film and TV opportunities for its catalogue.

London based music publisher P&P Songs is the latest company to enter into a partnership with London Calling, the previously reported synch rights agency set up by Tracie London-Rowell last December (and nothing to do with the music industry convention of the same name).

The partnership will see London Calling look for opportunities to utilise P&P's catalogue, which includes music by the likes of Burt Bacharach, Albert Hammond and Steve Miller, in the film and TV industries.

P&P Joint MD Peter McCamley told reporters: "We jumped at the opportunity to work with Tracie. Operating in tandem with Indi Chawla, our Licensing Director, we believe this gives us an edge in the increasingly-competitive sychronization market".

Other companies who have formed alliances with London Calling in the sync domain include another publishing outfit - Fabric Publishing - and management companies like CMO and ie:music.
