PlayStation sponsors new Virgin alternative station

Sony Computer Entertainment have confirmed they are to be the exclusive sponsor of Virgin Radio's new alternative digital station Xtreme. The six month deal will be used to promote the PlayStation Portable. Confirming the deal, Sony's Katrin Owusu told reporters: "This opportunity gives us entry at the very start of the exciting launch of a new station aimed at those consumers on the cutting edge of music and gaming".
