REM, Patti Smith and Van Halen are amongst the artists nominated for 2007 induction into the US Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame. Also in the running are Iggy & The Stooges, Grandmaster Flash, The Ronettes, Chic, The Dave Clark Five and Joe Tex. As I am sure you already know, artists are voted for by 700 industry types, who will select five of the finalists for induction. The ceremony will take place on 12 Mar next year.
