The Infadels sign to Wall Of Sound

The Infadels have signed to Wall Of Sound after winning two Diesel U Music Awards, with label boss Mark Jones praising their live energy.

Talking of Xfm's Remix Night, the band who played there last month - the excellent The Infadels - have been snapped up by Wall of Sound. The London based techno-funk-disco-punksters signed to the label shortly after winning two awards at least week's Diesel U Music Awards (one for 'Best Electronic Act' and one for 'Best Live Act').

Commenting on their awards and record deal the band's frontman, Bnann, told CMU: "We are really honoured to be given two awards by people who recognise and support underground talent such as Diesel. We're really chuffed to be signing with a wicked label such as Wall of Sound - the amount of excitement and belief they've put into us has been amazing."

WoS boss Mark Jones, meanwhile, told us: "The Infadels are without doubt one of the most exciting, energetic live bands I have seen for a long time. Harness that with their own electronic tinged classic song writing ability and you have something very special... Watch your back Rock music...or better still go have a bath and buy yourself a synthesizer!"
