More festivals and, given the way this summer is going, that, of course, means more rain. But, despite the misery guts of the Met office predicting everything from tornadoes to flash floods, everything is looking bright and rosy for the tenth year of the Truck Festival this weekend - as far as the line up goes, anyway - we're not making any promises about the weather. As I'm pretty sure we've said before, while super-size festivals like Glasto are fantastic events in themselves, you can't beat the small and intimate for getting the real festival experience. Even if it does mean those wanting to go have to get in quick - all 5,000 tickets for this year's Truck Festival sold out in under an hour. Which means if you haven't got a ticket or press pass you can't go. So why we're giving you line up highlights I'm not sure. Except that it provides the opportunity for me to say that this "pocket-sized Truck promises thrills and excitement by the Truckload". Hey, consider yourself lucky. My original conclusion to this story was "the weather forecast is looking grim but who gives a truck?"
