Warner considering Perez Hilton record label

Warner Music is reportedly in talks with blogger Perez Hilton about launching his own imprint, reportedly worth up to $100,000 a year.

The New York Times reports that Warner Music is in talks with that gossip blogger chap Perez Hilton about launching his own imprint record label. The blog man could receive up to $100,000 a year through the deal, which seems to be based on the fact that Hilton's online support of unsigned artist Eric Hutchinson helped him get into the iTunes top ten, something which led to Hutchinson getting a Warner recording deal (actually a second deal - he had previously been signed to Warner's Maverick but had been dropped).
