London based download firm Wippit have announced deals with a number of independent distributors which will considerably bolster their indie catalogue. The new partnerships are with The Orchard, IODA, Digital Rights Agency, CD Baby and VUT (a German association of independent labels, publishers, and producers). The new deals bring the overall Wippit catalogue to 2.4 million tracks, which, I can exclusively confirm, is quite a lot.
