Xfm have entered into a six-figure deal with Orange as part of a new music sponsorship programme also involving Viacom Brand Solutions and IPC ignite. It will see Xfm and NME both participating in a Orange enabled gig ticket giveaway promotion, which is interesting given NME are in the process of launching their own radio station to compete with Xfm. The promotion will run on Xfm in London, Manchester and Scotland, the Welsh version of the station not being including on account of parent company GCap being in the process of flogging it.
