YouTorrent goes legit in bid to attract buyers

BitTorrent tracker YouTorrent is restricting its links to licensed content, apparently to make the company more attractive to potential buyers.

A BitTorrent tracker called YouTorrent, which aggregates various searches for BitTorrent content, is going legit - ie it will only provide links to licensed content. They're doing it because they are trying to sell their company, and presumably think investment types will be more interested in acquiring a legitimate content search service which isn't so likely to incur the litigation wrath of the record companies. Though given that [a] the sorts of people that use BitTorrent trackers will cease to be interested once all the illegal but good free content goes and [b] new owners could still inherit legal liability for past copyright infringement, I'm not sure the idea is all that sound. But what do I know?
