Disiniblud is the transcendent new collaboration between composers and producers Rachika Nayar and Nina Keith. Both known for pushing at the edges of experimental music, the two artists were drawn to one another like mirror images - meeting in Brooklyn’s Maria Hernandez Park four years ago after fan-girling each other’s music online.

Sound-wise, Disiniblud operates somewhere between ambient minimalism and emotional maximalism. Glitchy textures meet neoclassical flourishes, with an undercurrent of melodic pop.

Rachika’s post-rock guitar manipulations and Nina’s playful, orchestral instincts converge into lush, cinematic movements - wordless music that is able to still overflow with feeling.

Their first single ‘It’s Change’ featuring Willy Siegel, Katie Dey and Julianna Barwick plays like a carousel of collapsing memories. Layers of spiraling vocal samples - looped, warped and weightless - give the track a mantra-like quality, echoing themes of impermanence and emotional elasticity.

Its counterpart, ‘Blue Rags, Raging Wind’ featuring Amigone, leans into a more crystalline palette: glockenspiel tones and neoclassical phrasing; like lullabies refracted through a dreamstate. It’s a track that embodies what Rachika calls the duo’s “inner childlike joy”.
