iTunes and Yahoo Japan do things

Yahoo Japan has partnered with iTunes to provide one-click access from its music sites to the iTunes Music Store.

Yahoo Japan has entered into a partnership with iTunes which will see the web firm provide one-click access from its music sites to the iTunes MusicStore. Presumably the one-click will take you to iTunes content relevant to whatever artists you were reading about on the Yahoo site, though I don't know that for certain.

Here's what iTunes VP Eddy Cue told Billboard: "We're very excited to partner with Yahoo Japan, the most popular search site in Japan. We look at this as a great opportunity - the synergy between us and Yahoo is great".

Here's what Yahoo Japan top man Masahiro Inoue said: "With over 40 million Yahoo Japan users we've become one of the most popular places for people to discover great new music. And we think Yahoo Japan users are going to love having the iTunes Store only one click away from Yahoo!"
