London four-piece alphabet have built a real following off the back of barely any recorded music, which says something about what happens when you actually see them play.

A sold-out headline show at Sebright Arms, festival slots stacking up, and support runs alongside TRAAMS and Egyptian Blue have all been secured on the strength of a handful of singles.

New track ‘Sense’ is the sound of a band trying to put that energy on tape properly for the first time.

Melodic but abrasive guitars push against propulsive drums, while Milo McNulty and Lena Pilshofer’s dual vocals trade off between desperate and enticing, landing somewhere closer to euphoria than either extreme.

“Lyrically, the song explores the shifting nature of emotions”, says McNulty, “the quiet battle with my inner monologue and the journey toward finding balance and peace among the chaos”.

It was co-produced with Luke Farnall, whose work with Loyle Carner and Ezra Collective should tell you the precision wasn’t left to chance.
