Universal complete BMG Publishing purchase

Universal Music has completed its acquisition of BMG Music Publishing, which will operate as Universal Music Publishing Group.

Universal Music have now completed their acquisition of BMG Music Publishing, which is great news for fans of redundancies. The takeover was given the go ahead by European Commission last week, of course. The merged venture will operate under the Universal Music Publishing Group banner. Just how much integration there will be between the two publishing companies is as yet unclear.
